本日は香港からお越しの日本人二名と一緒に半日コースにいってきました！
天気は生憎の雨でしたが、滝はおかげで大増水！！いつもに増して迫力のある滝が拝めました(｀･ω･´)ゞ
沖縄文化は中国から伝わってきたものが多いので、実は共通点がとても多いです。
お二人はそこに着目していて、僕が知らないことも沢山教えてくださりました(*´∀｀)

I went on half-day tour with two Japanese guests from Hong kong.
It’s rain today.But the waterfall level rose by the rain.
Actually, Okinawa and China have a lot of similar cultures.
Today’s guests focus it and tell me lots of things.

例えば旧正月、ハーリー、豚食文化、シーサーなどなど。。。
沖縄には「うめーし」という赤と黄色の伝統的なお箸があります。
実は中国にも同じ色彩の箸があるそうで、これが渡ってきた説もあるそうです。
ちなみにこれは月と太陽を指すそうですね。サンアンドムーン！( ｰ`дｰ´)

For example..food culture about pork, Lunar New Year, Seasar and dragon boat.
In this islands, we have the traditional red and yellow chopsticks named “Umeshi”
In fact,Chinese have similar thing.There is a explanation that’s from China.
By the way, the color of sticks means sun and moon.Cool.

まずはカヌーに乗って山の麓まで。
お二人の自宅の近くにはマングローブの干潟があるそうで、休みの日はよくカヌーを漕いでいるそうです。
生えている植物も景色もそっくりとおっしゃっていました。
文化だけではなく自然も似ているんですね(；´∀｀)

First of all, we paddled kayak.
They often do in the river around their home on holiday.
Because there are similar mangrove and mudflat.
Not only culture but nature also is similar.

最後は滝壺で昼食！
いつもは日本のラーメンをお土産にしているそうですが、今回の旅行では八重山そばを大量買いしていくそうです（笑）

追記.香港の国旗で使われているバウヒニアという花は日本語で「香港蘭」または「大花蘇芯花」ともいうらしいです。
蘭ではないんですけど(；´∀｀)

At last, we had lunch by the basin.
They usually buy Japanese ramen for souvenir.In this time, they will buy lots of Yaeyaman noodle.

Ps. The Chinese name of Bauhinia × blakeana has also been frequently shortened as 紫荊/紫荆 (洋 yáng means “foreign” in Chinese, and this would be deemed inappropriate by the PRC government), although 紫荊/紫荆 refers to another genus called Cercis.
